Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is a diverse and scenic park located just a short drive from Arusha town. Though smaller than other national parks in Tanzania, it offers a unique safari experience with a mix of landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor activities.

The park is known for its lush forests, open grasslands, and the beautiful Momella Lakes, as well as the impressive Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest mountain.

Wildlife and Safari Experience

Arusha National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, and several species of antelope. It is also one of the best places in Tanzania to see black-and-white colobus monkeys.

While large predators are less common, the park provides a शांत and relaxed safari experience with excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters.

Landscape and Scenery

The park features a wide range of landscapes, from dense montane forests and open savannahs to wetlands and crater lakes.

The Momella Lakes are particularly beautiful, often filled with flamingos and other bird species, while Mount Meru provides a dramatic backdrop and is popular for trekking and climbing.
